We’re back again Saturday with fresh produce, yard eggs, homemade jams, & jellies, pickles plants & herbs, baked goods, farm fresh meats, handmade crafts and ready-to-eat foods.

David Lewis is always a hit at the Columbus Farmers’ Market. This 17-year old young man from Bellville began singing and playing guitar at the age of 7. From the start, David has always been drawn to the classic country sounds.

This past year David formed the David Lewis Band. His sister, Emily, plays bass for the band. They have entertained crowds at festivals, parties, and The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo BBQ Cook-Off. The two of them will perform on Saturday.
Most recently, the band won the Country Showdown and will be advancing to the regional competition. The David Lewis Band will also be an opening act at the Austin County Fair on October 11th. The band’s playlist is filled with great hits by legendary country artists, as well as some of their own original material. David says he is “living the dream of playing great country music for fans.”
